i shared The Gospel today.
for my devotion this morning.
i just spoke The Gospel.
i had separated it in 5 parts.
i don’t know if anyone listened.
but i did it.
it went well i think,
it was fun.
i loved that i got the opportunity to share The Gospel.
i enjoyed it.
and it was good.
i’ve been hearing,
words speak louder than actions.
for some people this may be the way their ministry works.
but not mine.
this morning is not my every day ministry.
it’s not how i do it.
i’m not a speaker.
i don’t go up in front of large groups and preach.
i am a person who loves.
who is compassionate.
later on in the day,
i spoke to a mom.
about her children.
coming out of the darkness and into the light.
that is my ministry.
being a listening ear.
that’s not saying i don’t share the gospel with them.
when GOD gives me an opportunity,
i take it.
but i will not force anyone.
not to that 7 year old boy who swore at me.
not that lonely girl in grade 8.
not the boy in grade 10 who is experimenting with alcohol.
they will know i am there for them.
directing them to CHRIST.
i will listen to them.
i will love them.
i will be there for them.
i will be their friend.
i will pray for them,
i will not condemn them,
i will not hate them.
i may not agree with the life they live.
they are not believers.
but HE will draw them.
GOD will make me a light.
i will shine.
showing them The One & Only way to GOD.
let’s speak truth.
“my little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.” 1 john 3:18
love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 corinthians 13:4-13
“Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.” psalm 119:105
“but you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” 1 peter 2:9
“He has shown you, o man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justly,
to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with your God?” micah 6:8
“therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. but above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.” colossians 3:12-14
